An Evening of Legacy, Excellence & Joy
"A safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned."
— Maya Angelou on Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard
The Vineyard is exactly that — a sanctuary where we can relax, reconnect, and feel whole. Every August, the island fills with high-profile, culturally resonant gatherings. Few, however, have celebrated the extraordinary people who make the Vineyard what it is.
The Vineyard Icon Awards filled that gap. Held on August 9, 2025, the inaugural ceremony honored five icons whose love for the island is matched only by their impact far beyond its shores. The evening brought together nearly 300 guests at Farm Neck Golf Club, Oak Bluffs, for an unforgettable night of recognition, community, and legacy.
